Finances · for producers, company managers and payroll
Payroll is already written.
Hours arrive from the stage-door sign-ins, cover loadings from the cast changes you published, leave from the requests you approved. Check the week, finalise it, and everyone sees their pay summary in the app.
Tax file numbers and bank accounts show masked, and only the person can change them.
The pay run
Everything that touches hours or pay arrives here.
Cast are paid by the shows they did, crew by the hours they signed in for, management on salary. Step through each person and see where every dollar came from.
- Sections for Cast, Creative, Crew, Band and Management
- Timesheets: approve everything pending in one press
- Every day: paid from the sign-in, or from the rostered call
Pay setup
Set up the way your show actually pays.
Put people into employee groups, give each group its overtime, then assign rates in bulk and fix the exceptions. Super is paid on top, and on overtime as well if you choose.
- Starting defaults: sensible from day one, and yours to change
- Cover loadings: per performance, principal and ensemble
- Rates: checked against the LPA and PCA minimums in setup, and again before you finalise
Finalise and send
Finalising freezes the week.
Before you finalise, the week names anything that looks off: someone with no rate, a timesheet still pending, a sign-in with no sign-out, a line at $0. Send it to your bookkeeper from the pay run, and it's marked sent.
- Every warning is advice, and the call is yours
- Change something after finalising: the week shows whose pay moved
- A summary PDF, a workbook and a CSV, downloaded by you
Leave
Leave is counted in shows.
Approve a day off and the leave is worked out for you. Annual and sick leave build up every time you finalise a week.
- Leave is calculated
- Balance out? Pay in full, leave the shortfall unpaid, or split it
- Sized per show, per day, or your own way
Onboarding and pay summaries
Each person enters their own details.
Send the onboarding link once. Everyone fills in their tax file number, super and bank details on their own phone, and you can nudge anyone who hasn't, once a day at most. After you finalise, their pay summary arrives in the app, line by line.
- Onboarding status: ready to pay, started, or not yet
- Represented? Their pay summary routes to their agent
- Reimbursements: claimed from their phone, receipt and all
Who sees the money
Pay stays with the people who run pay.
Pay access is a setting you control per manager, and everyone else in the company sees their own hours and pay summaries.
Run your next pay week in one place.
Book a demo and we'll walk a whole pay week with you, from the first stage-door sign-in to the file your bookkeeper gets.
